► Layaway is available on item(s) with a value of $500 or more on regular priced items only. We require a 30% non-refundable deposit. The balance is due in two or three installments over a 30 - 45 day period. There are no discounts on layaway items. Please contact me from the item page or by phone (above) if you wish to discuss a layaway.

► Some items may take longer to ship due to their size and special needs packaging. Please pay attention to the 'ship' date when you check out and/or reach out if there is some urgency or concern.

► Shipping cost includes insurance and tracking for Canadian and U.S. orders. I ship everything with tracking to be on the safe side. Unless you contact me about shipping, items will be dispatched via Canada Expedited Post. Upon request I can arrange for DHL at an additional cost to be determined. IF you have your own courier account, items can also be shipped using that account.

We also work with pack and ship freight carriers on larger items. On items sent by freight, close communication is essential and we will work very closely with you to ensure a shipment goes as planned.

Some items do not have a shipping cost because of the size, weight and a destination is unknown until time of purchase.

► Once an item as been shipped it is out of my control and shipping may be delayed to due holidays and customs. In the event something does happen to your item please do not ship it back. You must keep all the packing material and report damage to the carrier. No claim can be made without the original packing. I can help you by reporting damage to the carrier and passing along your photos; 1) damaged item and 2) box and packing material.

► Shipping rates vary by destination, value, size, weight and shipping method.

► I do NOT ship to Post Offices Boxes.

► Buyer is responsible for any potential import costs, duty, vat and local taxes so please acquaint yourself with the costs and regulations for your area.

► Antique and Vintage by their very nature imply that items have been used and previously loved. They will likely show some signs of usage.

► I do my best to date an item based on my years of experience, and I take a lot of time to describe both the virtues and any visible flaws of all my pieces.

IMPORTANT: I do NOT accept returns, nor do I cancel orders. Please ask all questions before purchase. Antique and vintage items will show signs of usage, and that is to be expected. Use the zoom feature to inspect the item. Photos are part of the item description.

► Photos are taken in macro format and are part of the description so please use the zoom feature to inspect the item you are interested in. Bear in mind that because they are enlarged well beyond what the naked eye would see, i.e.: like looking at something through a magnifying loop, any minor signs of love and use are more exaggerated than they really are.

► IF you are buying from outside of Canada you will be responsible for any taxes and duties related to the purchase. Please educate yourself regarding your countries import and / or duty charges and any applicable local taxes.
